At its core, your website is a multi-tool for helping you achieve your business goals. And while you probably have a good idea of what you want to achieve, you might be less sure of how exactly to get there.
Much like embarking on a real-world expedition, we need to clarify some important things before setting off on the “journey” of crafting your new website.
Here are some important questions the website workshop is designed to ask and answer:
- How will you measure the success of the project?
- Who is your target audience?
- How will they find you?
- What pages does your site need and how will they be organized?
- What assets do you already have? Branding? Content? Images? etc and who will be responsible for them?
- How will your website fit into your existing systems?
- What software licenses will be required?
- Which platform will serve you best?
- What legal policies are required?
The answers to these questions help us chart a course to get you where you want to go, and that’s exactly what a website workshop does.
How the Website Workshop Works
We’ll spend 60-90 minutes together – typically over video call – discussing the above questions and more. Our goal is to take your vision and refine it into a clear action plan, which will include:
- Key site objectives.
- Site structure and organization.
- Specific functionalities and integrations.
- Content needs.
- Legal requirements.
What You’ll Receive
After the workshop, I’ll provide you with a detailed project blueprint. This includes a detailed breakdown of your site structure, functionality, integrations, price and timeline.
Next, you can decide to move forward with the project, or shop the blueprint around with other providers.
Cost
The workshop costs $600. This includes up to 2 hours of consultation, up to 4 hours of independent research, a project blueprint, timeline, and proposal. Some larger projects may require more meetings and research time at additional costs.
